Course Overview

The course has been designed to convey sophisticated financial concepts as effectively and as quickly as possible. For the best results, please use the following study format.

1. Read each section in sequence. New concepts build upon ones previously discussed.
   
2. Because much of this material will be new to you, it may be necessary to read some sections several times.
   
3. When a concept is mentioned a reference is given to the section where it is explained in detail. You can also click on the glossary of financial terms at any time.
   
4. Take the quiz at the end of each section, even if some of the answers seem obvious to you. Interaction facilitates the learning process.
   
5. Review the answers to the quiz questions in Section 14. The concepts are presented again in a somewhat different and enhanced manner.  This increases comprehension and retention.  
   
6. If you have trouble with a concept, don’t get frustrated. Some take a while to grasp. Press the help button which will take you to our response window. Type in your question and I will respond to you via email within 24 hours. If your question has relevance to our other clients, I will include it in the FAQ section. You will be identified only by your first name, initials, or not at all if you prefer.

By successfully completing this course, you will obtain a better understanding of investments and financial markets. You will also gain new insights that will help you to become a better investor.
